Ace Atkins and Booksellers Staff
Booksellers at Laurelwood was priviledged to host famed southern author Ace Atkins this past Tuesday night. Ace was in town to support his latest book, The Ranger (G.P. Putnam), first in a new series of thrillers featuring Quinn Colson, an Army Ranger back from a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Quinn returns to his small Mississippi home town to connect with his family and investigate the death of his uncle, and finds so much more than he bargained for: a town steeped in corruption, a ruthless land developer and a diabolical cult-leader.
